Al2O3-MgO bricks are made from high quality (MgO≥91%,MgO≥94.5%)magnesite and quality bauxite. In the matrix there are both of high temperature phase of periclase and the spinel. Therefore, the bricks have a good performance under high temperature and thermal shock resistance. They are widely used in open hearth furnace of steel-making, non-ferrous metallurgical furnaces and so on.
